The "Novosibirsk News" publication reported on August 6th that clocks have been installed in the park at the entrance from Sovetskaya Street. The photo accompanying the article shows elegant clock hands with a light-colored dial. Vadim Poleshchuk, the head of the city mayor's office for the improvement of public spaces, announced that the clock mechanism would be operated through a mobile application. Testing of the mechanism is underway and will be completed in the next few days.
Historical ornamental spheres are being restored to the fence posts surrounding the park, while concrete vases are being placed at the entrances. A large stone heart has been returned to its original location and a new tile platform has been created for it. It should be noted that the completion date of the Pervomaysky Park reconstruction and improvement project has been postponed several times, with the most recent official deadline set for August 15th.
