Wallpaper* magazine is set to release a book documenting the history of the Rolex Submariner, one of the brand's most recognizable models. Titled "Oyster Perpetual Submariner - The Watch That Unlocked The Deep," the 252-page book is authored by Nicholas Foulkes, a renowned historian and watch expert.
Arnaud Boetsch, Director of Communications and Image at Rolex, commented on the significance of the Submariner: "The Submariner, an archetype of diver's watches, embodies the historical connection between Rolex and underwater exploration. Over time, they have become iconic timepieces, known far beyond the maritime world."
The hardcover edition of the book, priced at £100 (approximately $132), will be available in English and French languages and will be released in selected retail stores on October 1st. A limited edition silk-bound version is available for pre-order in the Wallpaper* boutique from September 16th to 19th.
