When Sébastien Muller founded Brellum in 2017, he took a more traditional approach instead of crowdfunding for his new brand. The first model released was the Duobox, which gained attention from various outlets. Despite this, Brellum hasn't achieved the same visibility as its competitors.
Since then, Brellum has expanded its product lines with distinctive brand coherence. Their watches are instantly recognizable and feature high-grade chronometer-certified movements, although their designs are conservative.
In 2024, Brellum is introducing a smaller version of their popular Duobox model called the Duobox 39 Chronometer Limited Edition. The watch has a 39mm case with subdials at the 3, 6, and 9 positions. The case is mostly brushed with polished chamfers on the lugs and a bezel ring. It measures 11mm in thickness and has a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The Duobox 39 Chronometer is available in three dial colors: anthracite, silver, and blue. Each dial has applied markers and the Brellum logo, along with diamond-cut hands and SuperLuminova for visibility in low-light conditions.
The watch is powered by the caliber BR-110 automatic chronograph movement with a beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 26 jewels, and a power reserve of 60 hours. It is accurate to +4/-6 seconds per day and comes with a certificate. The display case back is secured by six polished screws and the watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
The Brellum Duobox 39 Chronometer is limited to 46 pieces for each dial color. It comes with a black veal leather strap and deployant buckle, as well as a stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp. The watch will be available for purchase on November 15th at a price of $3,650.
