Discover the retro-inspired Titoni Heritage Chronograph, a remastered version of a 1950s classic with contemporary specifications.

Titoni, a family-owned watch brand, has been producing high-quality timepieces since 1919. With its long-standing reputation, Titoni has embraced foreign markets and continues to thrive in the ever-changing watch industry. The brand's Heritage collection pays homage to its vintage models, combining classic designs with modern features. One noteworthy watch in the collection is the Heritage Chronograph, a stunning bicompax chronograph that captures the essence of a 1950s chronograph produced by Felca, a predecessor of Titoni.

Looking at the original Felca chronograph from the 1950s, it's no wonder that the fourth-generation Schluep brothers felt a strong wave of nostalgia. The Heritage Chronograph features a creamy-colored dial, blue tachymeter and red telemeter scales, and a bicompax layout, reminiscent of the original design. The stainless steel case measures 41mm in diameter and 15.2mm in thickness, giving it a contemporary size. The case showcases straight, faceted lugs, classic piston-style pushers, and a polished finish. The dial is the star of the show, faithfully replicating the original Felca chronograph with its blue outlined Arabic numerals and two horizontal sub-dials for running seconds and elapsed chronograph times.

The Heritage Chronograph introduces some modern elements while still paying tribute to the past. It features a rectangular date window at 6 o'clock and replaces the Felca branding with Titoni's signature plum blossom logo. The hands and numerals are treated with old radium Super-LumiNova, resembling the luminescence of watches from the 1950s. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, extending beyond the polished bezel.

Powering the Heritage Chronograph is a reliable Sellita SW 510BHa automatic movement. This bi-compax 4Hz chronograph includes a date function at 6 o'clock and provides a 58-hour power reserve. The movement features a gold-plated Titoni rotor with Geneva stripes, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

The Heritage Chronograph may not appeal to fans of vintage proportions due to its larger size, but its retro charm and affordable price make it an attractive choice for many. It comes with a taupe leather strap with white stitching and a steel push-button deployant clasp. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters.
