In January, watch enthusiasts eagerly await the release of Lunar New Year limited editions. Breguet has unveiled their masterpiece for the Year of the Snake: the Classique 7145 Lunar New Year 2025. This timepiece showcases the brand's signature guilloche work, engraving, and miniature painting techniques.
The Classique 7145 features a 40mm rose gold case with fluted edges, a distinguishing characteristic of Breguet designs. This larger size allows for the proper display of the dial's artistry. The dial itself is made of 18K gold and showcases a hand-engraved snake motif surrounded by intricate foliage. Various guilloche patterns adorn the surface, adding depth and complexity to the design. The time is indicated by discreet gold markers and traditional Breguet hands in 18K rose gold.
Powering the watch is the Breguet caliber 502, an automatic movement measuring just 2.4mm tall. It offers a 45-hour power reserve and features a 22K gold rotor adorned with hand-applied guilloche. The movement can be admired through the display caseback.
