Daniel Arsham, a multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of sculpture, architecture, video art, and fashion, has partnered with Hublot to create a stunning new model of pocket watch. Last year, after becoming an ambassador for the Hublot brand, Arsham designed a solar-powered pocket watch in Zermatt, and now he has come up with another incredible version.
The Arsham Droplet combines the vintage design of classic pocket watches with futuristic materials and modern manufacturing techniques. In addition to its primary function, the model can be transformed into a table clock or a sizable pendant.
Thanks to its droplet-like shape (hence the name) and unprecedented complexity, the concept of modern pocket watches has undoubtedly evolved. The model is made from titanium, rubber, and sapphire glass. With its ergonomic and tactile-friendly case, it fits perfectly in the hand (73.2 x 52.6 x 22.5 mm).
Owners of the Arsham Droplet will experience a thrilling and engaging interaction with modern horological art. The piece is limited to 99 editions and features the iconic Hublot in-house Meca-10 movement with an impressive 10-day power reserve.
