A burglar in Tatarstan stole unusual items, including a jar of pickles, from a sleeping family.

In a bizarre incident in Tatarstan, a thief broke into a home while the residents were asleep and made off with a peculiar assortment of items. Among the stolen goods were car and house keys, a wristwatch, and, surprisingly, a jar of pickled cucumbers.

The theft was reported by a 25-year-old resident of Almetievsk, who discovered the missing items the following morning. According to the victim, the break-in occurred overnight while the family was unaware of the intruder's presence.

Suspect Apprehended

Authorities quickly identified the suspect as a 46-year-old unemployed man with a prior criminal record. During a search, police recovered the stolen items and detained the individual. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 158 of the Russian Criminal Code, which pertains to theft.
